  • Who is on the City Council? 
  • Who is my Alderman? 

    The city website provides a list of our elected officials and how to email them.  Click here: City Elected Officials.  (If you need to determine where you live, and thus who your representative is, see the next question.)

     

  • What is my Ward? 

    There are eight wards of the city, each of which elects an alderman/alderwoman.  The city website provides the latest map of the wards, which is updated every ten years based upon the US Census.  To view this map, which is in pdf format, click here: City Ward Map, last revised in 2001

     

  • When is the next City Council Meeting? 

    City Council meets the second and fourth Monday of every month at City Hall, 160 Duke of Gloucester Street.  Use the following hyperlink to get details: City Council Meetings.

     

  • How do I register to vote here? 
  • How do I change my party registration? 

    To register to vote or change your party registration, you must do so in writing (using proper form) and submit more than 12 weeks prior to a Primary Election if you want to vote in your designated party's vote.  (If within this window of time, the form will be held and processed after the primary.)  See  Maryland State Board Of Elections FAQ Page.

     

  • How is the ARCC connected to the Republican Party in Maryland?

    The ARCC has no official tie to the Maryland Republican Party, as it is a city-created organization.  However, the ARCC works closely with the Maryland GOP and the County Central Committee.  For more information on the GOP in Maryland, use the following hyperlink to get details: Maryland GOP.
